9.5.8 Turn On or Off the Base Screening
You can select to turn on or off the call screening on base. When the
answ ering machine is set to ON and w hen there is an incoming message,
the base w ill start call screening automatically after the preset numbers of
rings of answ er delay.
Using the base:
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select ANS. MACHINE.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select TAM SETTINGS.
3. Press MENU/OK and / to select BS SCREENING.
4. Press MENU/OK and / to select ON or OFF.
5. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
9.5.9 Change the Compression Rate
Three different compression rates (HIGH, MID and LOW) are provided for you
to select different quality levels of recording incoming message. The low er the
compression rate, the higher the recording quality level attained, but the shorter the
total recording time available.
Using the base:
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select ANS. MACHINE.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select TAM SETTINGS.
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select COMPRESSION (Available options: HIGH,
MEDIUM, or LOW).
3. Press MENU/OK and / to select your desired compression rate.
4. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
