Is the degree of assistance adjustable?
Yes. You can simply adjust the degree of assistance using
the adjustment button on your display. Press the assistance
adjustment button a number of times to activate the various
settings: ‘No as-sistance’, ‘ECO (Economic)’, ‘NORMAL’, and
‘BOOST’.
What is the capacity of my battery?
When buying your Gazelle Innergy you can choose from three
di erent batteries: Bronze, Silver or Gold. The Bronze battery
has a capacity of 252 Wh, the Silver battery has a capacity of
324 Wh and the Gold battery has a capacity of 396 Wh.
What is the operating range for the various assistance
settings?
The number of kilometers you can cycle depends on which
battery you have bought. The table below gives an indication
of the number of kilometers you can cycle with the various
batteries. A number of factors can result in you having a
somewhat larger or smaller operating range, for example tire
pressure, but also your weight, the weather and the age of the
battery.
The action radius table above is applicable to models that
have been introduced from September 2010.
Isn’t the bike heavy to pedal if you switch o the motor or
if the battery is empty?
No, the bike has a brushless DC motor, so that the motor does
not give any noticeable resistance when switched o . The bike
also has several gears, so that you can choose a lighter gear to
suit your needs.
*) The extent of the Action radius partly depends on the following factors: gear, tyre pressures, weight of rider, speed of
bicycle, the countryside, opposing wind, age of the battery and the support selected. In hilly areas, the Innergy X2 models
are more e cient and enable you to ride longer on a battery than with an Innergy model. On  at terrain, the Action radius
for an Innergy X2 bicycle is up to 20% less than for a standard Innergy model.
N.B. The platinum battery is not suitable for Innergy X2 models.
*)* The platinum battery is no longer available from September 2014.
