5.2.2 Capaciteit controleren
Wanneer u vijf seconden lang de pushtoets
indrukt, laten de LED’s de huidige capaci-
teit van de accu zien.

In de winter is de actieradius
van de accu op grond van de
lagere temperaturen minder
groot. Plaats de accu (uit een warme
ruimte) pas net voor vertrek in de ets.
Zo voorkomt u dat u op grond van de
lagere temperaturen een minder grote
actieradius hebt.

5.3 ACCUBEHEER
Het accubeheer controleert de temperatuur
van uw accu en waarschuwt u bij een onjuist
gebruik.
Mocht een externe kortsluiting bij de
contacten of de oplaadaansluiting zijn
veroorzaakt, neem dan contact op met
uw dealer.
Laad de accu altijd onder toezicht
op en verwijder het oplaadappa-
raat na het laadproces.
5.3.1 Slaapstand
Om een diepteontlading te voorkomen, zal
de accu zichzelf beschermen door automa-
tisch in de slaapstand te gaan. Na uiterlijk
tien dagen zonder gebruik activeert het
accubeheer de slaapstand. De slaapstand
wordt beëindigd, als u de accu op het
oplaadapparaat aansluit of als u op de
accupush-toets drukt.
5.4 GARANTIE EN LEVENSDUUR
Voor de accu geldt een garantie van twee jaar.
Wanneer gedurende deze periode een defect
optreedt, vervangt uw dealer de accu. De
gebruikelijke veroudering en de slijtage van
de accu vormen geen materieel gebrek.
De levensduur van de accu is afhankelijk
van verschillende factoren. De belangrijkste
slijtagerelevante factoren zijn:
• Het aantal laadprocessen.
Na 1100 laadcycli beschikt uw accu bij
een adequaat onderhoud nog over 60%
van de begincapaciteit, dus 6,6 Ah
bij een 11 Ah-accu, 7,2 Ah bij een
15 Ah-accu en 10,2 Ah bij een 17 Ah-
accu. Een laadcyclus is het totaal van de
afzonderlijke laadprocessen die nodig
zijn om de totale capaciteit van de accu
te bereiken.
Bijvoorbeeld: u laadt de accu op de eer-
ste dag tot 5 Ah op, op de tweede dag
is dat 2 Ah en op de derde dag 4 Ah. Het
totaal is dan 11 Ah. Hiermee heeft de
accu één laadcyclus doorlopen.
