User Instructions
8.7 Place the rear face of log B against the stops on the front of
the burner skin. The front of the log will rest on the firebox
behind the 2 slots, see Diagram 7.

8.8 Place log C with the arrow pointing towards the rear of the
appliance. The front of the log will rest in the hollow on the
left-hand side of log B. The rear of the log will locate in the
left-hand hollow on log A, see Diagram 8.

8.9 Log D is placed with the Y shaped branch towards the front
of the appliance. There is a cutout on the top right hand side
of the front log (B). Locate the right hand branch of log D in
this cut-out and rest the top of the log in the location of log
A, see Diagram 9.

NOTE: ENSURE THAT LOGS ARE POSITIONED AS
DETAILED ABOVE.
8.10 Replace the door, see Section 9.
9. Replacing the Door
Marlborough & Stockton
9.1 Ensure that the rope seal on the back of the door is intact,
locate the door on the 4 studs and slide back to the firebox.
Secure in place using the 4 dome nuts.
Do not over tighten the nuts, see Diagram 10.

NEVER OPERATE THE APPLIANCE WHEN THE DOOR
IS REMOVED, OR THE GLASS IS BROKEN.
9.2 Replace ALL of the securing nuts ensuring that a nut is
present on all fixing studs.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE
APPLIANCE BE USED IF ANY OF THE DOOR
RETAINING NUTS ARE LOOSE OR MISSING.
Steel Manhattan
9.3 Refit in reverse order.
9.4 Ensure that the rope seal on the back of the door is intact.
Replace the glass frame and tighten the 8 screws, see
Diagram 4.
9.5 Offer the decorative steel trim to the opening, inserting the 2
tags on the bottom of the trim behind the bottom panel. Lift
the top of the trim up and hook the lugs on the back of the
trim over the top of the glass frame, see Diagram 11.
