USER INSTRUCTIONS
2.7 SETTINGTHE°C/24HOUROR°F/12HOURCLOCK
– Press OFF and the down arrow until the display changes
from °C/24 hour clock to °F/12 hour clock and vice
versa.
If the remote is removed, lost or damaged, signals
transmitted to the receiver cease. Your fire will go to
standby (pilot) mode after 6 hours.

Press the ON-OFF button to light the appliance, (up to
30 seconds) and use the UP button to increase the flame
height.
Press the DOWN button to decrease the flame height.
At the lowest point it goes to ‘standby mode’, (only pilot
lit).
Press the ON-OFF button to turn the appliance off
2C - EMERGENCY SHUT OFF
If the batteries fail during use of the fire, move the switch to
the OFF (O) position, Diagram 3.
(This switch is set to be ON during normal operation and
must remain ON)

The switch is located at the bottom right hand side of the
glass door. The glass front must be removed to gain access.
NOTE: IF THE APPLIANCE IS HOT PROTECTIVE GLOVES
MUST BE USED TO REMOVE THE FRONT.
3. CLEANING THE RIVA VISION
IMPORTANT: THE OUTER PANELLING OF THE RIVA
VISION IS MADE FROM GLASS. USE CAUTION WHEN
INSTALLING, REMOVING AND STORING AS THE
COMPONENTS ARE FRAGILE AND COULD BREAK
UNLESS HANDLED CAREFULLY.
3.1 Make sure the fire and surrounds are cool before cleaning.
Use:
– A dry cloth or stainless steel product to clean the
polished plate.
– A damp cloth for the painted frame.
– A damp cloth to clean the enamelled inner panels.
– Use a soft brush to clean the vermiculite panels.
3.2 All Models
Remove the front from the appliance by lifting clear of the
slotted hooks.

3.3 Using the allen key provided release the two window locks
at the top of the glass door, Diagram 5.
The locks move from shut to open towards the outer edges
of the glass door, Diagram 5.

Support the frame and let it fall gently forward.
Open it down to its stop position.
When closing the window ensure the window catches are
fully engaged.
