USER INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 Remove the door by undoing the four dome nuts using the
tool supplied and place to one side.
6.2 Carefully remove the ceramic fuel bed components and
place to one side taking care to protect floor coverings etc,
PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE.
6.3 The coals should not require cleaning. Do not use a vacuum
cleaner or brush to clean the coals, any large pieces of
debris can be removed by hand.
6.4 Ensure any debris is removed from the burner ports.
6.5 Replace the ceramics by referring to section 6.
6.6 Use a damp cloth to clean the outer casing of the
appliance.
7. CLEANING IVORY PAINTED APPLIANCES
7.1 Allow the appliance to cool thoroughly to avoid risk of
burns.
7.2 Ivory painted appliances require special attention when
cleaning. They have been coated with a high quality paint
that should give many years of service. However, this colour
will mark more easily and require cleaning more than other
models.
7.3 Take care when touching the appliance to avoid marking
the paint. Most marks can be removed using a mild soap
solution and a clean lint free cloth. The finish can also be
refreshed using aerosol touch up paint (product code 2055)
available from your Gazco retailer.
8. FUEL BED ARRANGEMENT
The major ceramic components can be found inside the
firebox. Remove the cast iron door using the tool provided,
and remove all the protective packaging from these
components. See Diagram 3.

NOTE: THE CAST IRON IS HEAVY, TAKE EXTREME CARE
WHEN HANDLING.
The loose coals should be arranged as specified in the
following steps. Care should be taken to ensure that there is
sufficient space between the coals to allow flames to pass
through.
Small Clarendon
8.1 Place the flame baffle onto the burner and push up against
the rear tray lip (see Diagram 4).

8.2 Locate the rear panel against the spacer brackets and slide
down so that it locates on the ledge of the flame baffle (see
Diagram 5).

8.3 Locate the front coal between the heat shield and flame
baffle so that its ends sit flat against the burner skin (see
Diagram 6).
