2. To remove odours and stains after usual cleaning, soak jug and lid for 5 minutes in
warm soapy water.

Then wash with a mild detergent and warm water. Thereafter, rinse well and dry thoroughly.
4. Store the jug with the lid open.
STORAGE
WARNING: Young children must be supervised that they do not play with
the appliance or any part of it When the appliance is not in use, always switch OFF
(press ON/OFF button) and unplug the appliance. Do not leave the appliance unattended
while connected to the power supply to avoid risk of injuries, electric shock or fire.
1. Switch off the appliance (press ON/OFF button). Unplug the appliance.
2. Always clean the appliance and all its parts before storing to avoid accumulation of dried-

IMPORTANT: Ensure to store the appliance where it is clean, dry and safe from frost, direct
sunlight and inadmissible strain (mechanical or electric shock, heat, moisture) and where it is
out of reach of young children. Do not place any hard or heavy objects on or in the appliance
or any part of it.
Always handle power cords with special care. Electric cables may never be knotted, twisted,
pulled, strained or squeezed.
3. You may wind the power cord loosely around the cord storage at the bottom of the power
base.
4. For storage, grasp the power base on both sides at the bottom and place it in upright
position on a level, clean and stable surface, where it cannot fall.
5. It is good advice to store the jug on its correct place on the power base. Alternatively, you
may place it beside the power base. To avoid accumulation of odours in the jug, leave the
lid open.
IMPORTANT: Do not use any parts or accessories of the appliance for any other purpose
than operating the appliance. It is good advice to store the parts and accessories of the appli-
ance with the appliance, thus protecting all parts against damage and loss.
