Saving a Phone Number as a Preset
You can save up to three contacts as presets on the dial pad.
This allows you to quickly call your home phone number, family
members, or frequently called contacts.

Wireless Headsets
Your device can send audio navigation prompts to a Bluetooth
enabled wireless headset.
Enabling or Disabling Bluetooth Features
You can enable or disable hands-free calling and Garmin Drive
features for your paired smartphone.

Select Settings > Wireless Networks > Bluetooth.

Select next to your phone name.

In the Use for section, select an option:
To enable a connection to the Garmin Drive app, select
Garmin Drive.
To enable hands-free calling features, select Hands-Free.

Showing or Hiding App Notifications (Android
)
You can use the Garmin Drive app to customize which types of
smartphone notifications appear on your RV 890 / Camper 890
device.

On your phone, open the Garmin Drive app.

Select > Smart Notifications.
A list of smartphone app categories appears.

Select a category to enable or disable notifications for that
type of app.
Showing or Hiding Notification Categories for Your
Apple
®
Device
If you are connected to an Apple device, you can filter the
notifications shown on your RV 890 / Camper 890 device by
showing or hiding categories.

Select > Tools > Smart Notifications > .

Select the check box next to each notification to show.
Disconnecting a Bluetooth Device
You can temporarily disconnect a Bluetooth device without
deleting it from the paired devices list. The Bluetooth device can
connect to your RV 890 / Camper 890 device automatically in
the future.

Select Settings > Wireless Networks > Bluetooth.

Select the device to disconnect.

Select OK.
Deleting a Paired Bluetooth Device
You can delete a paired Bluetooth device to prevent it from
automatically connecting to your RV 890 / Camper 890 device in
the future. Deleting a paired smartphone also deletes all synced
phonebook contacts and call history from your RV 890 / Camper
890 device.

Select Settings > Wireless Networks > Bluetooth.

Next to the Bluetooth device name, select > Forget.
Traffic
NOTICE
Garmin is not responsible for the accuracy or timeliness of the
traffic information.
Your device can provide information about traffic on the road
ahead or on your route. You can set your device to avoid traffic
when calculating routes, and to find a new route to your
destination if a large traffic delay occurs on your active route
(Traffic Settings, page 19). The traffic map allows you to
browse the map for traffic delays in your area.
To provide traffic information, your device must be receiving
traffic data.
All product models can receive subscription-free traffic data
using the Garmin Drive app (Receiving Traffic Data Using
Your Smartphone, page 14).
All product models can receive traffic data using an over-the-
air traffic receiver accessory (Receiving Traffic Data Using a
Traffic Receiver, page 14). Go to your product page at
garmin.com to find and purchase a compatible traffic receiver
accessory.
Traffic data is not available in all areas. For information about
traffic coverage areas, go to garmin.com/traffic.
Receiving Traffic Data Using Your
Smartphone
Your device can receive subscription-free traffic data while
connected to a smartphone running the Garmin Drive app.

Traffic > Traffic, and verify the Garmin Live Traffic option is
selected.
Receiving Traffic Data Using a Traffic
Receiver
NOTICE
Heated (metallized) windshields could degrade the performance
of the traffic receiver.
A traffic receiver receives traffic data from an over-the-air
broadcast signal, where available. To receive over-the-air traffic
data, the device must be connected to vehicle power using a
traffic-compatible powered mount. A traffic receiver is included
with some product models (Traffic, page 14). If your product
model does not include a traffic receiver, you can go to your
product page at garmin.com to find and purchase a compatible
traffic receiver accessory.
Traffic data is not available in all areas. For information about
traffic coverage areas, go to garmin.com/traffic.

Connect the device to vehicle power using the traffic-
compatible powered mount (Mounting and Powering the
Device in Your Vehicle, page 1).
If your product model includes traffic data, the powered
mount included with your device is traffic compatible. If you
purchased a traffic receiver as an accessory, you should use
the accessory to connect the device to vehicle power.

Accessory option is selected.
