Tips voor frequentiekeuze
Kies een frequentie onder 90.1 FM voor een
optimaal resultaat.
Wanneer u op zoek bent naar een geschikte
FM-frequentie op uw autoradio, zoek
dan naar een ongebruikte frequentie met
gelijkmatige, consistente ruis. Als u op de
achtergrond van de ruis zachte geluiden
hoort, dient u een andere frequentie te
selecteren.
Tijdens het rijden dient u mogelijk de
frequentie van de FM-zender te wijzigen.
Een frequentie die niet door een radiostation
wordt gebruikt in het gebied waar u op dat
moment verblijft, wordt misschien wel door
een radiostation elders gebruikt.
Informatie over de FM-
zender
De FM-zender is bedoeld om de
audiosignalen van de nüvi over te dragen
naar uw FM-stereo.
Pas nooit de FM-instellingen aan wanneer u
uw voertuig bestuurt.
De afstand tussen de voertuigvoedingskabel,
de nüvi en de antenne van de autoradio
is ook van invloed op het geluidsniveau.
Voertuigen met een antenne aan de
achterzijde, zoals bijvoorbeeld op de
kofferbak, ervaren meer interferentie van
geluidsbronnen van buiten dan voertuigen
waarbij de antenne aan de voorzijde is
bevestigd.
Tijdens het rijden kan het zijn dat u
wijzigingen opmerkt in de achtergrondruis
terwijl er geen FM-station is dat het
desbetreffende kanaal gebruikt. Dit
fenomeen kan optreden bij kruispunten
waar verschillende soorten verkeerslichten
of andere gemeentelijke elektronische
systemen in werking zijn. Daarnaast kunt u
dit ook opmerken wanneer u in een ander
terrein rijdt en u op uw autoradio de zenders
van verder gelegen radiostations ontvangt
die u eerder niet kon ontvangen toen u de
frequentie voor de eerste keer instelde. Door
deze en andere bronnen van elektrische
interferentie dient u mogelijk een andere
frequentie te zoeken.
