Para montar el GTM 11 con una sujeción por contacto:
1. Limpie y seque una parte del montante A o de otra superficie de
montaje adecuada.
2. Retire la película protectora de cierre de contacto de rizos.
3. Presione firmemente la tira de contacto contra la superficie de
montaje.
4. Retire la película protectora de de la tira de contacto opuesta
(textura de ganchos).
5. Presione con fuerza la tira de contacto con textura de ganchos
contra la parte posterior del GTM 11.
Adhiera aquí la tira de contacto con textura de ganchos
6. Oriente el GTM 11 con la antena apuntando hacia arriba y pegue la
tira de textura de ganchos adherida al GTM 11 a la tira de contacto
a la superficie de montaje.
Guíe el cable del GTM 11 de modo que no interfiera con los mandos
del vehículo. Si el cable no es suficientemente largo, puede comprar un
prolongador de 2 metros a través de su distribuidor de Garmin o en
www.garmin.com/products/gtm11.
Notas acerca de las tiras de contacto
Si decide utilizar la la sujeción de contacto para colocar su GTM 11 en el
montante A, puede colocar otra tira del mismo material en el montante A de
otro vehículo. De este modo, su GTM 11 será totalmente intercambiable.
Notas acerca de la antena de cable
Si utiliza la antena de cable, debe guiar el cable a lo largo del montante A
y alrededor del parabrisas. El cable se puede ocultar bajo el plástico del
montante A o bajo el forro del techo. El GTM 11 también puede ocultarse
aunque se utilice la antena de cable.
