Hartslag - informatie
Veel lopers en andere atleten
gebruiken hartslag “zones” om
hun cardiovasculaire prestaties
te meten en hun conditie te
verbeteren.
Wat zijn hartslag zones?
Een hartslag zone is een bereik
van hartslagwaardes (beats
per minute of bpm). De vijf
gebruikelijke hartslagbereiken
worden genummerd van 1 tot
5, volgens stijgende intensiteit.
Normaal worden hartslagbereiken
berekend op basis van uw
maximale hartslag. Zie volgende
blz. voor het effect van uw
workout in verhouding tot uw
hartslag in de verschillende
bereiken.
Hoe beïnvloeden hartslag-
bereiken uw tnessdoelen?
Begrip van hartslagbereiken kan
u helpen bij het meten en ver-
beteren van uw conditie, door het
toepassen van de volgende principes:
Uw hartslag is een goede
maat voor de intensiteit
van uw workout.
Training in bepaalde
hartslag zones kan u
helpen bij het opvoeren
van uw cardiovasculaire
capaciteit en sterkte.
Kennis van uw hartslag
zone kan u behoeden voor
overtraining en het risico
op blessures verminderen.
