4. Inbetriebnahme

gegen den Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen und den
Batterie-Halter

entnehmen.
2. 4 x LR-6-AA (Mignon) Alkali-Mangan (Alkaline)-Batterie

den Batterie-Halter einlegen.
Dabei auf die richtige Polarität (+/
-
) achten.

lagerichtig einlegen und mit dem Batterie-
Deckel

verschließen.
Beide LEDs leuchten für 2 Sekunden und die Bewässe-
rungsuhr führt ein Selbsttest durch. Dabei wird das Ventil
automatisch geschlossen.
Um bei längerer Abwesenheit einen Ausfall der Bewässerungsuhr
durch Batterien mit zu geringer Kapazität zu verhindern, sind die
Batterien zum gegebenen Zeitpunkt auszutauschen.
Entscheidend hierfür ist die bisherige Betriebsdauer der Batterien
und die voraussichtliche Zeitdauer der Abwesenheit, die in der
Summe nicht länger als 1 Jahr sein darf.
Auch bei fast leeren Batterien ist immer sichergestellt, dass ein
zuvor geöffnetes Ventil geschlossen wird.
Wenn beide LEDs blinken sind die Batterien verbraucht und müs-
sen ausgetauscht werden.
