Schedule
The schedule function is an ideal tool to
control which periods the robotic
lawnmower should not mow, for example
when children are playing in the garden.
The scheduling wizard is a quick tool to
find suitable schedule settings for the
robotic lawnmower. See
Scheduling

GARDENA smart system enables
wireless interaction between the robotic
lawnmower and other devices in
GARDENA smart system, such as water
controls and sensors. In this menu, the
robotic lawnmower can be included in, or
excluded from, the smart system. It is also
possible to check the wireless connection
status to smart system. See
smart system
on page 24
.
Settings
For many working areas there is no need
to alter the factory default settings, but
depending on the lawn complexity the
mowing result can be improved by making
manual settings. The functions in the
settings menu are used to customize the
installation. In the settings menu, it is also
possible to make changes to the general
settings of the robotic lawnmower, such
as date and time. The
Settings
menu also
includes settings related to security, and
the connection between the robotic
lawnmower and the charging station. See
Settings on page 25
.

Scheduling wizard
Advanced
The lawn should not be cut too often to obtain the best
mowing result. When the robotic lawnmower is allowed
to mow too much, the lawn may appear flattened.
Besides, the robotic lawnmower is subjected to
unnecessary wear. If the working area is less than the
robotic lawnmower's area capacity, the quality of the
grass can be further improved if it is cut every other day
instead of a few hours every day. In addition, the grass
benefits from resting completely during at least a three-
day period once a month.
The schedule function is also an ideal way to control
which periods the robotic lawnmower should not mow,
for example, when the children are playing in the
garden.

Overview
The scheduling wizard is a quick tool to to find suitable
schedule settings for your lawn.
1. Enter your estimated lawn size. It is not possible to
enter a larger lawn size than the maximum working
capacity. See
Technical data on page 51
2. Confirm the lawn size by pressing the OK button. By
entering your lawn size the wizard suggests either a
suitable daily schedule (go to step 4) or need input
for inactive days.
3. Choose what day(s) the robotic lawnmower should
be inactive. Use the up/down arrow keys to shift
between days.
4. Confirm the chosen inactive day(s) by pressing the
OK button.
5. The wizard suggests a daily schedule for the active
days. If you want to move the schedule interval to
earlier or later in the day then press the arrow keys
up or down.
6. Confirm the daily schedule by pressing the OK
button. An overview of the daily schedule is
presented. Press OK button to go back to main
menu.
