Draadverlenging
(automatisch):
Voor een optimaal snijresultaat moet de snijdraad

van
maximale lengte zijn.

Wanneer de draadspoel na het uitschakelen tot stilstand komt,
wordt de snijdraad
U
automatisch verlengd.
Daar de draad maar in kleine stappen wordt verlengd, kan het in
sommige gevallen nodig zijn om meermaals in en uit te moeten
schakelen (tot 6 maal). Het is daarbij belangrijk, dat de draadspoel
iedere keer volledig tot stilstand komt.
De snijdraad heeft de juiste lengte, wanneer deze na het
inschakelen hoorbaar tegen de draadbegrenzer
V
slaat.
Als de snijdraad op is, de draadspoel vervangen
(GARDENA reservedraadspoel art. 5306).
6. Buiten werking stellen
Opbergen: De opbergplaats mag niet voor kinderen toegankelijk zijn.
1. Accu laden.
2. Trimmer op een droge, vorstvrije plaats opbergen.
Advies:
De trimmer kan aan de handgreep worden opgehangen.
Wanneer de trimmer hangend wordt opgeborgen, wordt de
snijkop niet onnodig belast.
Afvalverwijdering:
(volgens RL 2012/19/EU)
Het apparaat mag niet met het normale huisvuil meegegeven
worden, maar moet volgens de geldende regels afgevoerd worden.
v Lever het apparaat in op het afvaldepot van uw gemeente.

Li-ion
afvalverwerking
van de accu:
De GARDENA Li-accu bevat lithium-ion-cellen, die na hun levens-
duur niet in het normale huisvuil mogen worden gedeponeerd.
Belangrijk:
In Nederland kunt u de oude accu’s inleveren bij uw GARDENA
verkooppunt of u kunt ze inleveren als klein chemisch afval.
1. Li-ion-accu volledig ontladen.
2. Li-ion-accu op de juiste plek afgeven.
7. Onderhoud
GEVAAR!
Verwondingsgevaar door de snijdraad!
v Trek de accu er vóór het onderhoud van de trimmer
direct af!
Verwondingsgevaar en gevaar voor materiële schade!
v Maak de trimmer niet schoon met water of met een water-
straal (in het bijzonder niet onder hoge druk)!
