FIRST USE
Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers,
protective film or plastic from the device.
Before using the device for the first time, clean it with a damp cloth.
Thoroughly dry the device.
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge
or steel wool; these could damage the device.
ASSEMBLING
ADJUSTING THE MAIN HANDLE
When taking out the device of the
packaging, the main handle is
turned to the side. Turn the main
handle to the front by rotating
the angle adjusting knob (8) until
it clicks into place and the main
handle does not turn anymore.
ASSEMBLING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE
Take the auxiliary
handle (6) and loosen the
lock nut with the lock nut
adjuster (5), taking out
the pin. Place the auxiliary
handle over the mount on
the device, aligning the
openings. Place the pin
through the bigger opening
of the auxiliary handle and
secure it in place with the
lock nut adjuster and lock
nut on the other opening.
ASSEMBLING THE GUIDE WHEEL
Take the guide wheel (11)
and place its bolt into the
opening on the side of the
weed sweeper head (10).
Screw it securely in place
with a screwdriver.
ASSEMBLING THE GUARD HOOD
Take the guard hood (12) and place it on
the side of the weed sweeper head (10),
aligning the openings with each other.
Place the provided screws (16) through
the openings and secure them in place
with a screwdriver.
ASSEMBLING THE BRUSH
The device needs to be assembled with one of the provided brushes (14) &
(15). To assemble the brush push back the quick-grip holder (13) and place
the bolt of the brush into the opening. Release your hold on the quick-grip
holder and check if it is secure in place.
ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE SHAFT
The length of the shaft is adjustable in dierent heights.
Loosen the lower half of the length adjusting knob (9) by turning it
anti-clockwise.
Pull the lower shaft (7) up or down to adjust the desired height.
Tighten the length adjusting knob (9) by turning counter clockwise.
ADJUSTING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE
The auxiliary handle is adjustable in dierent angles.
Loosen the lock nut adjuster (5) on the side of the auxiliary handle (6)
until you can move the angle of the auxiliary handle.
Rotate the auxiliary handle in the desired position.
Tighten the lock nut securely with the lock nut adjuster.
POWERING THE DEVICE
Make sure the power plug is connected to the mains power. To power ON
the device, push the safety switch (1) upwards, hold it in place and press
the power switch (2). You can let go of the safety switch when the device
is powered on.
To power OFF the device, let go of the power switch (2). Make sure the
brushes stopped turning and remove the power plug from the mains
power.
Note! The brush will keep turning for a few seconds when the device is
powered o.
OPERATING THE DEVICE
The device is designed to clean accumulated dirt, moss and weeds from
paving and pathways. Clean and maintain the device after every use (see
“Cleaning and maintenance”).
Note! Do not carry the device by the power switch when not in use.
 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the device regularly.
Switch the device off, make sure the brushes stopped turning and remove
the power plug from the mains power.
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
Clean the device with a dry cloth, use a brush for areas that are hard to
reach. If the device is extremely dirty, clean with a damp cloth and then
dry thoroughly.
Check the air inlet and outlet of the device for dust and dirt. Remove dust
and dirt carefully by vacuuming (vacuum cleaner).
Clean the brushes (14) & (15) after every use.
Keep the cutting edges of the brushes (14) & (15) sharp for optimal
performance and to reduce the risk of injury.
