Eliminating minor faults by yourself
Before you call customer service,
please check whether you can
eliminate the fault by yourself based
on the following information.
A technician who is called out for
consultation purposes will charge the
customer, even if the appliance is still
under guarantee.
q Despite the door being closed, the
acoustic warning signal is emitted
constantly.
Check whether the technician has
fitted all three white caps (Fig. 3/32)
after attaching the door panels.
q A flashing
button and display,
(Fig. /19), denote that the freezer
compartment was or is too warm.
The flashing display for the freezer
compartment, (Fig. /19), indicates
the warmest temperature which the
freezer compartment reached when
the fault occurred.
The warning signal may occur, e.g.
Following a power failure
If the freezerĆcompartment door has
not been closed properly
If the door has been open too long
If large quantities of fresh produce
(warm) have been placed in the
freezer compartment
When the
button has been
pressed, the warning signal is
cancelled. The current temperature
inĂthe freezer compartment is now
displayed continuously (i.e. no longer
flashes). (If the button and the display
continue to flash, the freezer comĆ
partment is still too warm).
If the warning signal continues for
several days, the appliance is defecĆ
tive (call customer service).
