2.4 Brewing coffee with pods system (ART. 030/D - 034/D - 042/D)
2.4.1 Unscrew the double spout from the filter holder and apply the single spout.
2.4.2 Take off the filter for ground coffee (pict. 2) from the filter holder and substitute it with the
filter for pods (pict. 3): it can be distinguished because it is lower and it has a raised
internal edge.
2.4.3 Take the pod out from its envelope and put it in pods filter.
2.4.4 Insert the filter holder in the proper space and rotate it from left to right in having care
to clasp it well.
2.4.5 When the pilot light D (pict.1) signalling the machine ready is ON (or is OFF for the coffee
machine art. 042/D), press button B and your coffee will descend. To stop the coffee
brewing, press button B.
2.4 Brewing coffee with pods system (ART. 030/C - 034/C - 042/C)
2.4.1 Take the pod out from its envelope and put it into pod filter holder.
2.4.2 Insert the filter holder in the proper space and rotate it from left to right in having care
to clasp it well.
2.4.3 When the pilot light D (pict.1) signalling the machine ready is ON (or is OFF for the coffee
machine art. 042/C), press button B and your coffee will descend. To stop the coffee
brewing, press button B.
Warning:
The appliance must never be used without water.
2.5 Steaming
To make cappuccinos or hot beverages, the water temperature must be raised in order to
produce steam.
2.5.1 ART. 030 - 030/C - 030/D e ART. 034 - 034/C - 034/D
When the espresso coffee machine is on (see 2.2), press button "C" and wait until pilot
light "D" turns on, which indicates "MACHINE READY".
2.5.1 ART. 042 - 042/C - 042/D
When the espresso coffee machine is on (see 2.2), keep on pressing button "C" and wait
until pilot light "D" turns off, which indicates "MACHINE READY".
2.5.2 Rotate the water/steam nozzle outside.
2.5.3 Place an empty container under the water/steam nozzle and slowly turn the hot water/
steam knob (E, pict.1) in order to let the water come out from the circuit.

Le goût du café peut dépendre de plusieurs facteurs: type d'eau, mélange de café,
degré de moulure et force de serrage du porte-filtre.
On peut le vérifier en observant la vitesse d'écoulement du café.
Si l'écoulement est rapide, la moulure est trop grosse ou le porte filtre n'est pas
suffisamment serré.
Si l'écoulement est lent, la moulure est trop fine ou le portefiltre est trop serré.
Laisser allumée la machine (la consommation d'énergie plus importante est due au
chauffage de l'eau et non pas au maintien de la chaleur) avec le porte filtre inséré pour
que tous les composants de la machine atteignent la même température.
Pour fouettre le lait et obtenir une grande mousse…
Plongez le tuyau de débit vapeur dans le récipient avec le lait , tournez le bouton "E" de débit
vapeur et abaissez et rehaussez lentement le récipient jusqu'à obtenir la mousse désirée.
Lorsque vous avez terminé l'opération, nettoyez attentivement le tuyau avec un éponge ou
un chiffon mouillé parce que les résidus de lait sont très difficiles à enlever.
PROBLEMS ET POSSIBLES SOLUTIONES
En poussant le bouton "B" vous n'avez aucune sortie d'eau par le porte-filtre:
vueillez contrôler que le réservoir ne soit pas vide, s'il est vide, remplissez-le et repetez
l'opération (per. 2.1; 2.2)
En appuyant sur l'interrupteur "B" l'eau s'écoule à côté du porte-filtre:
veiller à ce que le porte-filtre soit correctement inséré dans son emboîtement et soit bien
serré. Cela peut se passer quand il y a trop de café dans le porte-filtre ou la pastille café n'est
pas bien positionnée.
Le service après-vente est effectué par votre revendeur ou par l'importateur / distributeur des
produits G3 FERRARI.
