7. Umgang mit Kraftstoffen

Kraftstoffe und Kraftstoffdämpfe sind feuergefährlich und können beim Einatmen oder an

der Haut schwere Schäden verursachen. Daher ist beim Umgang mit Kraftstoff Vorsicht

geboten und für eine gute Belüftung zu sorgen.

• Schalten Sie vor dem Betanken den Motor aus und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.

• Beim Tanken offenes Feuer vermeiden.

• Tragen Sie beim Tanken Handschuhe.

• Nicht in geschlossenen Räumen tanken (Explosionsgefahr).

• Verschütten Sie keinen Kraftstoff oder Öl. Säubern Sie die Maschine sofort, wenn Sie

Kraftstoff oder Öl verschüttet haben. Wechseln Sie Ihre Kleidung, wenn Sie Kraftstoff oder Öl

darüber verschüttet haben.

• Lassen Sie keinen Kraftstoff ins Erdreich gelangen.

• Schließen Sie den Tankverschluss nach dem Tanken wieder sorgfältig und kontrollieren Sie,

dass er sich während des Betriebes nicht löst.

• Darauf achten, dass Tankdeckel und Benzinleitungen dicht sind. Bei Undichtigkeiten darf das

Gerät nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

• Transportieren und lagern Sie Kraftstoffe nur in dafür gekennzeichneten und zugelassenen

Behältern.

• Transportieren und lagern Sie Kraftstoffe nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren oder leicht

entzündlichen Stoffen sowie Funken bzw. offenem Feuer. Halten Sie Kinder von Kraftstoffen

fern.

• Entfernen Sie sich zum Starten des Gerätes ausreichend vom Tankplatz.
