COL0UR
This unit is equipped with a 32K+ RGB variabl e col our
display . By rot ating the Encoder V olume Control, you
can select the system col our from the foll owing options:
COL OUR SCAN (default setting); WHITE; GREEN 1; GREEN
2; GREEN 3; AMBER; PINK 1; PINK 2; PURPLE 1; PURPLE
2; BL UE 1; BL UE 2; USER; ORANGE
USER (USER SELECTED COL OUR):
This allo ws you to sel ect y our choice of display c olour from
over 32,000 combinations (32K+). When you select USER
in the col our menu, pr es s the Enc oder Volume Control to
then rot ate to select the intensity or Red, Green & Blue
(fr om between 0 and 32) to mak e your own cust om col our .
T o switch between R (Red), G (Green) and B (Blue) setting
modes, push the TUNE UP button
Pr ess ESC/RGB button once you have compl eted
your sel ection.
RADIO O PE RA T IO N
TUNE INTO A RADIO ST A TION
1. Pres s the SOURCE butt on r epeatedly until [RADIO] is
displayed on the L CD scr een.
2. Select your pref err ed listening Band (FM or AM) by pr essing
BAND . There ar e 3 FM Bands [FM1] [FM2] [FM3] and 2 AM
Bands [AM1] [AM2]. These multipl e Bands all ow you to st or e up to
18 FM stations & 12 AM st ations in memory (see below).
3. T o search for a r adio station, press either the TUNE UP or
DOWN buttons to sear ch f or the next station higher than
the current s tation fr equency or lower than the curr ent fr equency .
4. T o Manuall y tune to a r adio s tation, pr ess and hold either the
TUNE UP or DOWN butt on until the tuner fr equency on
the LCD display starts flashing. Y ou can then rel ease the TUNE
UP or DOWN butt on, and pr ess it again r epeatedly until y ou sel ect
your desir ed fr equency . After 5 seconds, the display will stop
flashing and the unit will be tuned in to that station.

st or e mor e s tat ions , y ou can us e FM 2/3 or AM2 fo r AM s tat ions .

3. Pr ess and hold one of the Preset Station Buttons (1-6) for 2
seconds to s tor e the station. The pr eset number and [SA VED] will
be dislayed on the L CD scr een.
TUNE TO A SA VED or PRE-SET ST A TION
1. Select the r el evant BAND
2. Pres s the Preset Station Number corr esponding to your
r equired Pr e-Set s tation.
R DS OPE RA T IO N
The RDS (Radio Dat a Sys tem) function operates onl y in ar eas
with FM stations broadcas ting RDS signals. If you tune to an RDS
station, an RDS icon and information about the present er, station
or pr ogram is displayed.
This unit supports the foll owing RDS featur es:
(PTY) SELECT PROGRAM TYPE
Befor e tuning to RDS stations, you c an sel ect pr ogram type and l et
the unit sear ch only f or pr ograms of the sel ected category .
Pr ess the MENU button to ent er the System Menu, pr es s
ENTER again to confirm and select PTY type & search for that
styl e s tation. Please see a list of PTY T ypes & descriptions on P14:
(AF) SELECT AL TERNA TE FREQUENCIES
If the radio signal from the current station is poor, you can turn
on the AF (Alternate Fr equency) function to let the unit search
automaticall y for another station with a s tr onger signal but with
the same pr ogram identification as the curr ent st ation.
(T A) RECEIVE TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
If you do not want to miss a traffic announc ement during music
playback, y ou can turn on the T A (T r affic Announc ement) function.
T A ON: W hen ther e is a tr affic ann ounc em ent; the unit swi tch es
to the tuner mode (r eg ar dl e ss of the curr e nt mode ) and begins to
br oa dc ast t he an noun ce ment o n tr affic con dit ions . Whe n the tr af fic
anno unc em ent is o ve r, the unit wi ll r eturn t o the pr e viou s m ode.

(REG) REGION FOR AF TUNING
REG ON: Onl y s tations in the curr ent r egion will be tuned t o
automaticall y .
REG OFF: All stations c an be tuned to automatic ally

the clock time manuall y .
iPo d/iP hone OPE RA TI O N
This unit is equipped with iP od/iPhone contr ol which
allows you to dir ectl y contr ol and char ge iPod/iPhones
using the units controls – with display of iPod/iPhone track
information appearing on the unit’ s LCD display .

CONNECTING AN iP od OR iPhone
Insert the Apple Sync cable to the Fr ont USB socket as
shown and the unit will s tart playing the iP od/iPhone
automaticall y
BASIC SEARCH – PLAYLIST/ARTIST/ALBUM/SONG on
iPod/iPhone
Pr ess BAND to br o wse the iPod/iPhone menu.
Then rotate the Encoder Volume Contr ol clockwise to and
pr ess ENTER t o choose one of the following selections,
then foll ow the st eps below:
PLA YLIST Rotate the Encoder V olume c ontr ol to sel ect
your desir ed Playlist and pr es s ENTER to st art play .
ARTIST Rotate the Encoder V olume Control to select your
Apple sync c able

a) TUNE UP/DOWN. In tuner mode, pres s this button to
Auto Seek t o the next station or pr es s and hold this button
to manuall y tune in to your desir ed st ation.
b) FILE & TRA CK UP/DOWN. In CD or USB/SD media
playback mode, pr es s these buttons to skip a chapter,
track or fil e.
c) F AST FORWARD/BACK. In USB/SD media playback
mode, pr es s and hold momentaril y t o f ast forwar d/r e wind.

A UDIO FU NCTION S
All Audio functions are easily acces sable on the CA-ML600.
AUDIO MENU. Pr es s the ENCODER VOL UME CONTROL
to acces s the Audio Menu mode. Then pr ess ENTER or
TUNE UP t o select the Audio Function to be adjusted,
then r otat e the ENCODER V OL UME CONTROL to select
the desired setting. Y ou can always r eturn to the previous
Audio F unction by pr essing the TUNE DOWN butt on.
REMINDER
In the AUDIO MENU, or in any menu, you can quickl y e xit the menu
by pr essing the ESC/RGB button
EBX ON/OFF: T urn ON or OFF the EBX (Encounter Bas s
Xtender) Bass Boost.
BAS Adjust the Bass l evel between -7 t o +7.
TRE Adjust the T reble l ev el between -7 to +7.
BAL (Balance) Adjust the balance between the right and left
speak er s fr om 12 R (ful l righ t) to 12 L (ful l le ft) .
F AD (F ader) Adjust the fader between the fr ont and rear
spe ak e r s fr om 12 R ( fu ll r ear ) t o 1 2L ( fu ll fr ont ).
(SUBWOOFER)
SW ON/OFF T urn On or Off the Subwoof er RCA output.
SW LPF Subwo of er lo w p as s cr osso ver : 8 0/12 0/16 0Hz
SWAM ON/OFF In AM mode, turn ON or OFF the Sub output.
NOTE
If the Subw oofer RCA output is set t o “OFF”, then the SW LPF &
SWAM functions will not be displayed.

T o set the clock, r otate the Encoder V olume Control to set
the hours (Note “ A ” or “P” will be displayed in the top-right
hand of the L CD display indicating AM or PM if the Clock
is in 12H mode – see bel ow). Pr es s the Encl oder V olume
contr ol to sel ect “minutes” then r ot ate the contr ol t o set.
