Our notebooks have been designed primarily with mobile applications in mind.
This means that considerable effort has been made to optimise compone nts and
equipment in terms of weight, space and energy requirements. Depending on the
particular conguration you have purchased, it is possible that functionality may be
slightly reduced compared to a desktop PC if you are running p rocessor-intensive
gaming software, e.g. games with intensive 3D graphics. Updating your hardware
with drivers which have not been approved by Fujitsu Siemens Computers may
result in performance losses, data losses or malfunction of the equipment. A
list of appro ved drivers and current BIO S versions can be downloaded from:
"
http://www.fujitsu-siemens.de/support/downloads .html"
Help if problems occur
Should you ever have a problem with your computer that you cannot solve yourself, in many cases
you can solve it quickly using the SystemDiagnostics program pre-installed on your computer.

If a problem is detected during the test run, the SystemDiagnostics program outputs
a code (e.g. DIFS code YXXX123456789123).
Ta ke a no te of this DIFS code and the ID number of your device. The ID number can
be found on the type rating plate on the back of the casing.
If you still need assistance resolving the problem, contact the relevant Help Desk for
your country (see the Help Desk List or go to "
http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/su pport").
Have the ID/serial No. of your system and the DIFS code ready.
