▪ The knives are sharp, be careful!
▪ NEVER pull the cord itself to pull the plug from the socket.
▪ NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll the cord completely.
▪ NEVER use the cord in the proximity of sources of heat, such as ovens, stoves or heating
▪ NEVER cover the appliance when it’s working or when it is plugged in.
▪ NEVER use the appliance when empty.
▪ NEVER fill the jug above the MAX indication and make sure it is always filled up to the MIN indication.
▪ Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
2. BEFORE THE FIRST USE
▪ Remove all packaging and stickers.
▪ Clean the appliance before the first use (see ‘Cleaning’).
▪ Assemble the appliance correctly.
▪ Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the same as your main voltage.
▪ According to the safety law: only use earthed sockets.
3. GENERAL USE
▪ The Soup Maker has a mixing bar to mix the ingredients and a heating element to heat the ingredients and to
cook soup.
▪ Assemble the appliance: place the lid with the mixing bar on the stainless steel jug.
▪ Insert the contact pin into the jug (see drawing) and the plug in the socket
▪ The control lights of the control buttons flash alternatively.
▪ The appliance is ready for use.
The appliance can be used for following functions:
1. Mixer/blender function (see below: SETTINGS)
2. Soup function (see below: SETTINGS)
a. Smooth
b. Chunky
3. Compote function (see below: SETTINGS)
This function can also be used to heat up soups or other liquids.
▪ To set a function: press the press Mode button until the symbol of the desired function flashes and the press the
Select – On/Off button. The appliance will then start according to the preset parameters. (Smooth – Chunky –
Compote Mode)
REMARK: the control light on the chosen mode flaches and when you confirmed the desired mode by pressing
the select – On/Off button the symbol will be lighted continuously and the timer on the LED display will start to
count down. (see SETTINGS)
▪ To cancel a set function, press the Select – On/Off button for 2 seconds.
▪ Once the chosen program is finished there will be a sound signal for 60 seconds and all the symbols will flash.
Then the appliance automatically shuts off.
▪ Never let the motor block come into contact with liquids. If this happens, immediately remove the plug and
have the appliance checked by a recognized repairman.
▪ At first use some smell might be noticed. This is normal and will disappear by itself.
