GB INSTRUCTION MANUAL
I. SAFETY REGULATIONS
-The blender can only be used with 230V AC.
-For your own safety the appliance will not function if not assembled correctly.
-NEVER touch the knives with your hands!
-ALWAYS put the appliance on a heat resistant, dry and stable base, such as a kitchen table, in order for the
appliance not to turn over nor slide.
-NEVER plunge the motor block, cord or plug into water or any other liquid. Only clean with a moist cloth.
-NEVER touch the knives because they are very sharp. Only remove the lid and dismount the accessories once
the appliance has stopped running completely and after pulling the plug from the socket.
-NEVER use the appliance outside, in the direct proximity of sources of heat nor in rooms with a high degree of
humidity.
-ATTENTION: ALWAYS be very careful when using the appliance in the presence of children. NEVER leave
the appliance unattended in the presence of children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance. NEVER let children, disabled persons, persons with reduced physical or mental
capabilities or persons with lack of experience and knowledge use the appliance.
-NEVER leave the appliance unattended nor move the appliance when in use.
-NEVER pull the cord itself to pull the plug from the socket. NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll
the cord completely. ALWAYS put the appliance near a socket easy to reach. NEVER use the cord in the
proximity of sources of heat, such as ovens, stoves or heating.
-NEVER turn the cord around the appliance when it is in use. NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of the
table or the kitchen counter.
-NEVER use the appliance if the plug is damaged. In that case, immediately bring the appliance to a recognized
repair shop.
-Only use the blender for what it is meant, namely blending and mixing.
-NEVER let the appliance run without any ingredients, this can cause overheating and can damage your
appliance.
-Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
-The appliance is intended for household use and cannot be used for more than 1 minute at a time.
-Persons who haven’t read this instruction manual cannot use this appliance.
-ALWAYS switch off the appliance and pull out the plug
*after use or when the appliance is not in use
*if the blender doesn’t function properly
*when cleaning the appliance
II. INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
CAUTION: For your own safety this blender will only function when all accessories are correctly assembled
thanks to the built in Safety Lock.
CAUTION: NEVER put the blender onto a wet surface or a wet cloth. NEVER let the motor block get in
contact with any liquid. If however, this would occur, immediately pull out the plug from the socket and bring
the appliance to a recognized expert.
CAUTION: NEVER put your hands or any sort of cooking utensils into the jug, while it is placed onto the
motor block.
-Only use wooden, rubber or plastic cooking utensils. NEVER use force to push food down into the jug or to
remove food from the knives.
-If the motor slows down or doesn’t turn anymore, immediately turn off the appliance and let it cool down. If
this doesn’t help, immediately go to a recognized expert.
-ALWAYS let the appliance cool down to room temperature before storing it.
-NEVER put hot liquids in the jug, but let them cool down, otherwise you could burn yourself.
-First add liquids to the jug. Cut solid food (vegetables, cheese and seafood) in pieces of ca. 2cm. Don’t
overburden the motor by adding too big quantities or to hard ingredients. If you use solid food, don’t let the
motor turn for more than 60 sec. If the motor stops running, immediately put the appliance in OFF mode to
prevent overheating.
-Only mix the ingredients for a couple of seconds. It is recommended to do this in order to avoid mashy results.
