5.4.9 Maintaining schedules

1. On “SETTINGS”, click “SCHEDULE”.

2. Click the icon of an schedule.

3. Maintain as necessary.

5.4.10 Maintaining devices

1. On “SETTINGS”, click “DEVICE”.

2. Click the device.

3. Follow the instructions.

4. Click “WHERE USED” to show the programmes, events

and schedules.

5. Click “REMOVE” to remove the device.

6. Click “ADVANCE SETTING” to go to advance settings.

5.4.11 Resetting the password for the online account

To reset the password you must be located in your home or ensure your PC is connected to the same network as that of the

gateway.

1. Go to https://globalguard.friedland.co.uk.

2. Click “FORGET YOUR PASSWORD” if you forgot the

password.

3. Click “YES”.

4. Enter the “MAC ID” and “Admin ID”. The “MAC ID” is

printed on a label on the bottom of the gateway.

5. Follow the instructions. The system will send a

temporary password to the e-mail address of the admin

user.

6 Operation (online access)

Go to https://globalguard.friedland.co.uk.

You can make an account to:

- control the security functions

- activate programmes

- add up to 8 CCTV cameras

- view and play cameras

- set up accounts

Note:

 You must set up at least one e-mail contact under “SETTINGS” > “CONTACT” to allow that contact to receive e-mail alerts

from the system.

 You must always log out.

 The response time of the software will depend on the speed of the online server at the time.
