3.1.4.2 EVENT
An event is a set of multiple actions that take place when the system is triggered by a detector. For example, an event can be
created to automatically switch on the porch lamp (connected to an on/off device) when the door/window contact detector
detects the front door opening. Unlike programmes, events are activated by detectors rather than activated upon request by
the user.
An event can also be set to be triggered by a change in the security settings. For example, setting the control panel to an arming
mode remotely through the website can switch on the light to warn off intruders.
To add and maintain up to 32 events.
Description
Name of the event.
Number of the event.
Status of the event:
Select “ENABLE” to activate the event.
Select “DISABLE” to deactivate the event.
Set the trigger type to activate the event:
DEVICE TRIGGER: Select a detector device added to the system and specify the type of action
that will trigger it.
SYSTEM TRIGGER: Set the security mode. (optional)
ADVANCE SETTINGS: Set the time at which the event will function. (optional)
Set the action to be taken when the trigger has been initiated:
CONTROL DEVICE: Select a control device to control devices (max. 16).
PROGRAMMES: Select a program to activate.
Set the delay time before Action2 is activated.
Set another action to be taken:
CONTROL DEVICE: Select a control device to control devices (max. 16).
PROGRAMMES: Select a program to activate.
