1. If the icons on the machine panel are dimly lit , the machine needs to be descaled. The cycle lasts about 20 minutes.
2. Limescale normally builds up with the use of the machine. The machine is equipped with an automatic program allowing you to optimise cleaning and to remove limescale
deposits from the inside. Failure to descale the machine may cause malfunctions not covered by the warranty.
3. Only use descaling products for co ee machines. Do not use vinegar, lye, salt or formic acid as they may damage the machine. Follow the procedure described below and not
the instructions on the package of the descaling product.
4. Should a power failure occur during the descaling procedure, the cycle will resume from where it stopped when power is restored.
