1. Safety warnings:
The installation of the product must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local laws and regulations on
safety. The product is a Class II, according to EN 60950-1.
Warnings for installation
- Use only the cable network equipment, installing the product so that the plug is easily accessible.
- The product should not be exposed to drip or spray of water and must therefore be installed in a dry, inside
buildings.
- Leave enough space around the product to ensure adequate ventilation. The over-temperature and / or excessive
heating can compromise the operation and product durability.
- Do not install the product above or near sources of heat or in places where dusty or may come into contact with
corrosive substances.
- Humidity and drops of condensation could damage the product. In case of condensation, before using the product,
expected to be completely dry.
IMPORTANT: Only trained and authorized personnel can open the product. In case of failure, do not try to repair otherwise
the guarantee will no longer be valid.
For you safety, unplug the power before moving the DVR, installing, or replacing any parts or hard drive.
Make sure all the power cable and wires are properly set up before using the DVR. Contact your distributor
immediately if there is any defect.
To avoid a short circuit, don’t leave any unnecessary parts inside the DVR.
Please avoid dramatic changes of the environment, such as dust, temperature, and humidity. Keep the DVR in a
temperature ranging from 5℃~40℃.
Keep the DVR in a well-ventilated place and away from any heat-generating objects.
Do not block the DVR’s fan and vent.
Do not expose this unit to the sun directly.
If you are not sure of the installation and setup, please consult the technicians.
If there’s any damage to this unit or the power supply, don’t fix it yourself. Consult the technician or your supplier
distributor.
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
In accordance with the European Directive 2004/108/EC (EMC), the product shall be installed using devices, cables
and connectors that allow to comply with this directive requirements for fixed installations.
REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES
This product incorporate 2 AAA mini-stilo batteries that can be removed acting on the lever on the back of the remote
control and a CR2032 that is housed on the mainboard of the DVR.
Considering the potential effects on the environment and human health of the substances used in batteries, the end-
user must dispose of waste batteries by using containers for separate collection of rubbish.
EUROPEAN DIRECTIVES CONFORMITY
This product complies with the essential requirements set up in the European Directive 2004/108/EC (Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive - EMC).
