desired support level appears on the display.

level. The motor power requested is shown on the

Switching the pushing aid on and off
The pushing aid makes it easier for you to push
the e-bike. When using this function, the speed
depends on the gear and is limited to a maximum
of 6 km/h. The lower the selected gear, the lower
the speed when using the pushing aid function (at
full power).
The pushing aid function must only be used
when pushing the e-bike.
If the wheels of the e-bike are not in contact with
the ground while the pushing aid is in use, there
is a risk of injury.
To activate the pushing aid, briey press the but
-
ton (13) on your on-board computer. After activa-
tion, press the + button within three seconds and
hold it down. The e-bike drive will be switched
on.
The pushing aid is switched off as soon as one
of the following events occurs:
You release the + button,
The wheels of the E-Bike are blocked (e.g. by
braking or bumping against an obstacle),
The speed exceeds 6 km/h. After the + button
is released, the pushing aid remains available
for another three seconds. If you press the +
button again during this time, the pushing aid
is reactivated.
With certain systems, the pushing aid
can be started directly by pressing the
WALK button.
The pushing aid cannot be activated in
support level OFF.
Switch bicycle lighting on/off
The headlight and the rear light can be switched
on and off at the same time by pressing the bicy
-
cle lighting button (3) on the on-board computer
when the respective bicycle version supplies po
-
wer to the riding light via the e-bike system.
When the light is switched on, a symbol is shown
in the status bar on the display.
Switching the bicycle lighting on and off does not
affect the display backlighting.
eShift (optional)
The eShift function integrates electronic shifting
systems into the e-bike system. The eShift com
-
ponents
are electrically connected to the drive unit in the
factory. A separate operating manual provides
instructions on using the electronic shifting sys
-
tems.
Powering external devices via USB port
The USB port can be used to operate or charge
most devices that are able to be powered via USB
(e.g. mobile phones).
The on-board computer and a sufciently charged
battery must be inserted into the e-bike before de
-
vices can be charged.
Open the protective cover (17) of the USB port
on the on-board computer. Connect the USB
connector on the external device to the USB so
-
cket (6) on the on-board computer using the Micro
A Micro B USB charging cable (available from
your Bosch e-bike dealer).
Once the device has been unplugged, the USB
port must be carefully covered with the protective
cover (17) again.
The USB connection is not waterproof. You
must not connect external devices when
riding in the rain and the USB port must be
completely covered by the protective cover
(17).
Connected devices may reduce the ran-
ge of the e-bike.
