Locate the upper portion of the diagonal section of the adult belt into the belt guide (M)
found on the underside of the headrest side wings (23). Pass the lap section of the adult
belt over the child’s lap and under the armrest on both sides of the seat. Ensure the lap belt
is low down on the child’s lap and firmly engaging with the pelvis. Connect the adult belt
connector tongue to the seat belt buckle (24).
Ensure that on the buckle side both the lap and diagonal sections of the adult seat belt pass
under the armrest (24). Now adjust the headrest so that the diagonal belt section passes
over the shoulder midway between the neck and the end of the shoulder. The headrest belt
guide should be near level with the child’s shoulder (25) (26). To remove your child from
the car seat, simply unbuckle the seat belt and place it at the side of the car seat.
The belt will remain suspended from the headrest belt guide.
However safe a child seat is, however well built it is, your child’s safety depends on you
carrying out the following checks before every journey.
Final Checklist
A cup holder is provided and can be secured to the side of the seat base behind the armrest.
A fixing point is accessible through a small opening in the cover (30).
Cup Holder
Check the car seat is facing forwards in the vehicle and in the direction of travel (22).
Check the adult seat belt is fitted correctly with the lap section under the armrest and
the diagonal under the armrest on the buckle side (24).
Check the upper diagonal section is located in the belt guide on the head rest (23).
Check the vehicle seat belt is not twisted or slack.
Check the head rest position is at the correct height with the diagonal belt going

Important! Misusing your child seat will reduce the protection and safety you offer
your child.
