IMPORTANT! Check if the adult seat belt buckle is forward of the lap belt fixing points on the
infant car seat, or is in a position that interferes with the lap belt fixing points, as it may not be
possible to get a secure installation of the car seat (9).
If this is the case, please try another seating position in the vehicle or another seat.
If in doubt please contact the manufacturer.
Whenever possible use a rear seating position in the vehicle.
Install your child restraint system in the seating positions specified as a ‘Universal’ category
in the vehicle manufacturers users’ manual, using the primary path of the adult seat belt.
Always use the adult seat belt fixing points on your car seat as described in the instructions
and marked with blue indicators on your car seat.When moving your car seat from the vehicle
always try to do this on the pavement side of the vehicle.
IMPORTANT! When installing your car seat and before fitting the seat belt, always ensure
that the seat handle is locked and in the upright carry position (A) in section carry handle
adjustment and functions (see diagram 18).
Place the child seat on the chosen seat of your vehicle, always facing rearwards (3).
Pull out the adult seat belt, pass the lap belt section across the front of the car seat and
connect the adult belt connector to the adult seat belt buckle (4).
Secure the lap belt section by passing the adult belt through the adult lap belt fixing point on
each side of the car seat. The fixing points are indicated with blue arrow labels (5) (6).
Pull out more of the adult belt diagonal section, pass the belt around the back of the car seat
and locate the belt into the central fixing point at the back of the shell indicated with the blue
marker (7) (8).
As you do this ensure that the belt is not twisted and directed under the handle pivot on the
adult seat belt buckle side of the seat (9).
Once fitted recheck the adult belt is secure to the fixing points at the front and rear of the
car seat.
Tighten the belt by starting at the front lap section, pulling the belt towards the adult seat belt
buckle, then pull on the diagonal belt section whilst firmly holding the top of the car seat.
Make sure the adult seat belt is as tight as possible and that the seat feels secure and stable.

Note that your car seat is designed to fit only with a 3 point lap and diagonal seat belt and
must not at any time be fitted using only a 2 point lap belt (1).
