b Wanneer de koolmonoxidemelder is geactiveerd, dan knippert het groene
LED-lampje eenmaal per minuut. Dit geeft aan dat de koolmonoxidemelder
stroom krijgt van de batterij en volledig operationeel is.
c Test het alarm, de batterij en het elektrisch systeem door de test/reset-
knop kort ingedrukt te houden. Zo bevestigt u dat de koolmonoxidemelder
correct werkt. Zodra u de knop indrukt, zal het alarm afgaan en begint de
rode alarmindicator te branden. Dit geeft aan dat het alarm werkt en dat
de batterij stroom levert aan het apparaat. Deze test voor het alarm, de
batterij en de elektrische circuits moet wekelijks worden uitgevoerd. Doe
dit gedurende de hele levensduur van het product.
WAARSCHUWING: langdurige blootstelling aan het alarm op korte afstand
van uw oren kan uw gehoor beschadigen.
Bij normaal gebruik zal de batterij heel de levensduur van het product, m.a.w.
10 jaar, meegaan.
Als de batterij leeg is, dan zal de koolmonoxidemelder u niet meer
beschermen tegen het risico van koolmonoxidevergiftiging.
WAARSCHUWING: langdurige blootstelling aan extreem hoge of lage
temperaturen kan de levensduur van de batterij verkorten.
DE BATTERIJ DEACTIVEREN
De CO-9X-10-BNL is draagbaar, zodat hij ideaal is om mee te nemen op
vakantie. Deactiveer de koolmonoxidemelder terwijl u reist of wanneer
u deze tijdelijk opbergt, bijv. gedurende het verven van de muren. Het
