6.2.5 Trainingsduur
Elke trainingseenheid bestaat idealiter uit een opwarmfase, een trainingsfase en een afkoelingsfase
om blessures te voorkomen.
Opwarming:
5 tot 10 minuten langzaam fietsen.
Training:
15 tot 40 minuten intensieve of niet overbelaste training met de bovengenoemde intensiteit.
Cool-down:
5 tot 10 minuten langzaam fietsen, gevolgd door calisthenics of stretching, om de spieren los te
maken.
Stop de training onmiddellijk als u zich onwel voelt of als er tekenen van overbelasting optreden.
Veranderingen in de metabolische activiteit tijdens de training:
In de eerste 10 minuten van de uithoudingsprestatie consumeert ons lichaam de suikers die
in onze spieren zijn opgeslagen.
Glycogeen: Na ongeveer 10 minuten wordt er bovendien vet verbrand.
Na 30 - 40 minuten wordt de vetstofwisseling geactiveerd, dan is het lichaamsvet de
belangrijkste bron van energie.
