Als de AF-functie is ingeschakeld en de radio kan het
afgestemde station niet meer ontvangen, dan
activeert de radio het automatische zoeken en
verschijnt het bericht "FM Search" op de display
(alleen bij autoradio's van hoog niveau).
Als de AF-functie is uitgeschakeld, blijven de
resterende RDS-functies, zoals de weergave van de
naam van het station, altijd actief.
De AF-functie kan alleen op FM-golfbanden
geactiveerd worden.
TRAFFIC INFORMATION functie
(verkeersinformatie)
Sommige stations op de FM-golfband (FM1, FM2 en
FMA) zenden ook verkeersinformatie uit.
In dit geval verschijnt het opschrift "TA" op de
display.
Ga als volgt te werk om de TA-functie in- en uit te
schakelen:
❒ druk kortstondig op de MENU-toets en kies
“Traffic info”;
❒ druk op de
of toets om de functie in/uit te
schakelen.
❒ Als de TA-functie is ingeschakeld, licht op de
display het pictogram "TA" op.
Opmerking
Als de TA-functie ingeschakeld is bij een andere
audiobron dan de Tuner (Radio) (CD, MP3, telefoon
of Mute/Pause), dan kan de autoradio het
automatische zoeken in werking stellen, waardoor
het mogelijk is dat bij het opnieuw inschakelen van de
Tuner (Radio) de afgestemde frequentie anders is dan
wat eerder was ingesteld.
Met de TA-functie is het volgende mogelijk:
❒ zoeken naar uitsluitend RDS-stations op de FM-
golfband die verkeersinformatie kunnen uitzenden;
❒ verkeersinformatie ontvangen ook als de CD-
speler werkt;
❒ verkeersinformatie ontvangen op een vooraf
ingesteld minimumvolume, ook als het radiovolume
uit staat.
Opmerking
In sommige landen zijn er radiostations die ook bij
ingeschakelde TP-functie geen verkeersinformatie
uitzenden (het pictogram "TP" verschijnt op de
display).
Als de radio is afgestemd op een station op de AM-
golfband en de TA-functie wordt geactiveerd, dan
stemt hij af op het laatst gekozen station op de FM1-
golfband.
Het volume waarmee de verkeersinformatie wordt
uitgezonden is afhankelijk van het luistervolume:
❒ luistervolume lager dan 5: volume
verkeersinformatie op 5 (vaste waarde);
