Als beeldformaat “16:9” is gekozen bij

beelden in het 4:3 formaat, dan wordt

het beeld iets gewijzigd als gevolg van

het conversieproces van de breedte.

Ook als is gekozen voor “4:3 PANO-

RAM. EN SCANN” kan bij enkele

DVD’s het formaat van het scherm

overgaan naar “4:3 LETTERBOX”. Dit

is afhankelijk van de manier van opslaan

op de DVD.

Besturingssymbolen op het scherm

Tijdens de weergave worden op het scherm kort de volgende besturingssymbolen weer-

gegeven.

Wordt weergegeven a/t begin v/e scène als de audio in meer talen beschikbaar is.

Wordt weergegeven a/t begin v/e scène als ondertitels in meer talen beschikbaar zijn.

Wordt weergegeven a/t begin van een scène met meerdere standpunten.

Informatie over het geluid via de uitgangen achter

Via analoge uitgangen (audio-uitgang/draadloze koptelefoons): een 2-kanaalssignaal wordt

uitgezonden.

Als een meerkanaals gecodeerde disk wordt weergegeven, worden de meerkanaals-

signalen gemengd.
