Ga als volgt te werk:
❒
houd de motorkap met een hand om-
hoog, trek met de andere hand de
stang C uit de zitting E en plaats de
steunstang terug in de klem D;
❒
laat de motorkap tot op ongeveer 20
cm van de motorruimte zakken, laat
de motorkap vallen en controleer of
de motorkap goed is gesloten door
hem op te tillen. De motorkap mag
niet alleen door de beveiliging ver-
grendeld zijn. Druk in dit laatste geval
de motorkap niet dicht, maar til hem
opnieuw op en herhaal de handeling.
BELANGRIJK Controleer altijd of de mo-
torkap vergrendeld is, om te voorkomen
dat deze tijdens het rijden open gaat.

Om veiligheidsredenen moet
de motorkap tijdens het rij-
den altijd goed gesloten zijn. Contro-
leer daarom altijd of de motorkap
goed vergrendeld is. Als u tijdens het
rijden merkt dat de motorkap niet
goed is vergrendeld, stop dan onmid-
dellijk en sluit de motorkap op de juis-
te wijze.
ATTENTIE
Als de steunstang verkeerd
geplaatst wordt, kan de mo-
torkap onverwacht dichtvallen.

Voer deze handeling alleen
uit als de auto stilstaat.
