VOORWOORD
Het Start&Stop-systeem schakelt automa-
tisch de motor uit telkens als de auto tot stil-
stand wordt gebracht en start de motor weer
als de bestuurder de rit voortzet.
Hierdoor wordt de werking van de auto ver-
beterd, omdat het brandstofverbruik wordt
verlaagd, de uitstoot van schadelijke stoffen
wordt beperkt en minder geluid wordt gepro-
duceerd.
Het systeem wordt ingeschakeld als het con-
tactslot wordt ingeschakeld.

WERKING
Uitschakelen van de motor
Met handgeschakelde versnellingsbak
Bij stilstaande auto wordt de motor uitgescha-
keld als de versnelling in vrij staat en het kop-
pelingspedaal niet is ingetrapt.
Met automatische versnellingsbak
De motor wordt uitgeschakeld als de auto stil-
staat en het rempedaal is ingetrapt.
De motor wordt ook uitgeschakeld als het
rempedaal niet is ingetrapt, maar als de selec-
torhendel in de stand
N staat.
Opmerking: De motor wordt alleen auto-
matisch uitgeschakeld als daarvoor met een
snelheid hoger dan ongeveer 10 km/h is gere-
den, om herhaaldelijk afslaan van de motor tij-
dens de rit te voorkomen als stapvoets wordt
gereden.
De uitgeschakelde motor wordt aangegeven
met het lampje
fig. 1 op het instrumentenpa-
neel, afhankelijk van de uitvoering.
Opnieuw starten van de motor
Met handgeschakelde versnellingsbak
Trap het koppelingspedaal in om de motor op-
nieuw te starten.
Met automatische versnellingsbak
Zet de selectorhendel vanuit de stand N in een
willekeurige versnelling, of laat het rempedaal
los of zet de selectorhendel in de stand (+), (–)
of
R.
HANDMATIG IN- EN
UITSCHAKELEN
Het systeem kan met de knop A-fig. 2 op het
dashboard worden in- en uitgeschakeld. De uit-
schakeling wordt met het lampje “Start&Stop
OFF”
fig. 3 op het instrumentenpaneel aan-
gegeven.
Bovendien verschijnt bij bepaalde uitvoeringen
het bericht op het display dat Start&Stop is uit-
of ingeschakeld.
