Unable to start my ferrex strimmer any ideas please. The battery is fully charged..Any ideas please.? Your help would be appreciated. Thank you

Under normal use, the saw has stopped working. Battery is fully charged and lights indicate it should work. The safety guard is set to run but nothing happens when the trigger is pulled to the on position. After two attempts, the lights also stop working. What can be wrong?
