Si la protección está sucia reducirá el rendimiento del motor.
Los gases de escape del motor pueden contener chispas y si la protección está dañada, se puede producir un incendio, por
ejemplo, al entrar en contacto con la hierba seca. Si la protección de la chispa está dañada se tendrá que sustituir
inmediatamente.
Desmonte el revestimiento del silenciador.
Desatornille el silenciador (1). Desatornille los tres tornillos (2) y desmonte el silenciador por completo.
Desarme el silenciador y limpie la protección de la chispa (3), si presenta daños, sustitúyala.
El montaje se realizará en el orden inverso.
Carburador
El carburador viene ajustado de fábrica para un rendimiento óptimo. Si es necesario ajustarlo se aconseja encargar el ajuste a un servicio
técnico autorizado.
La cadena no debe moverse con el motor a ralentí.
Almacenar la motosierra
Después de utilizarla limpie la cadena pertinentemente.
No almacene la motosierra durante más de 30 días sin realizar las siguientes operaciones.
Vacíe el aceite para cadenas del depósito de lubricante.
Cargue un poco de aceite para motores en el depósito.
Deje que el motor gire al ralentí brevemente para que el aceite limpie los tubos de aceite y la bomba.
Vacíe el depósito de combustible.
Ponga el motor en marcha y deje que gire al ralentí hasta que se pare por falta de combustible.
Desmonte la cadena y la espada. Límpielas y rocíelas con aceite de conservación.
Limpie la motosierra a fondo y almacénela en un lugar seco.
Averías
Si se presenta una avería, por ejemplo, por el desgaste de una pieza, póngase en contacto con el proveedor de servicios indicado en la
tarjeta de garantía. En el dorso de este manual encontrará un amplio resumen de las partes de recambio que se pueden ordenar.

When using the recommended sharpening tools and handling correctly, the recommended values of angles Aand B will be set
automatically.
For basic sharpening of the chain, make 2 to 3 pulls of the file from the inside out according to picture 19.
When using an incorrectly sharpened chain, a higher risk of kickback can occur.
After sharpening the cutting teeth 3 or 4 times, have the saw chain sharpened in any authorised service. They will sharpen the
depth limiter as well, which provides the distance D.
Inner Sprocket Cleaning

After any use of the chainsaw, clean the saw properly.
Release the muffler cover (see picture 1).
Clean the inner interior with the small brush.
Screw the screw of the chain tension (2/1) to the left up to the stop.
Remove the saw chain and guide bar.
Clean the groove on the bar and the hole for oil supply.
Guide bar

To avoid one-sided wearing, turn the guide bar after each sharpening and chain change. Regularly check that the guide bar is not damaged.
Remove any possible coating.
Properly clean the grooves of the bar (1) and the hole for oil supply (2).
Properly clean the hole for lubrication (1) on the end of the guide bar (from both sides).
Press lubrication into the holes using the lubrication press on both sides until the lubrication equally runs out on the tops of the turner.
Turn the turner at the same time.
Air Filter

Keep the air filter clean!
Remove the top cover (2).
Carefully remove the air filter (1) and wash it in clean, warm soapy water, Air dry completely and then reinstall.
Never wash the filer with petrol. Replace the damaged filters.
Fuel filter

The fuel filter should be replaced after each 20 hours of use.
In the fuel tank, there are two tubes:
1 Short tube leading to the primer (without the filter),
1 Long tube leading to the carburettor (with the filter).
Remove the fuel tank cap together with the safety lock.
Lift filter (2) out of the tank carefully using the small hook (1).
Spark Plug Replacement

Defective and burnt-out spark plugs must be replaced. Use only original spark plugs.
As an alternative you can use this type, as well: CHAMPION RDJ 6Y
Disconnect the connector of the spark plug (2).
Remove the spark plug (24/1) by unscrewing with a pair of pliers.
Check the gap of the spark plug electrodes, which must be (E) (E=0,635 mm).
Muffler

The muffler is equipped with a special safety spark arrester screen. The screen must be cleaned regularly.
Adirty safety spark arrester screen will lower the performance of the engine.
