Juster vinklen på sålen som følger:
A. Løsn sokkelskruerne med den medfølgende
unbrakonøgle.
B. Drej sålen til højre eller venstre i den ønskede
savevinkel.
Du kan aflæse dette på vinkelmåleren . Den
maksimale savevinkel er 45º.
C. Tilspænd sokkelskruerne igen.
Montering og udtagning af batteriet
Fig. A + E
Sæt batteriet i bunden af værktøjet som vist •
på illustrationen. Skub batteriet ind, indtil det
får fat.
Tryk på låseknapperne (4) på begge sider, før •
batteriet tages ud, og tag batteriet ud af
værktøjets bund.
Brug kun batterier af nedenstående
type:. Hvis der anvendes andre batterier,
kan det medføre alvorlig personskade
og beskadige værktøjet.
CDA1051: FPB-1800L, 18 V lithium-ion
CDA1053: FPB-1800N, 18 V NiMH
Nedenstående opladere kan anvendes
til at oplade disse batterier.
CDA1052: FPL-1800 (lithium-ion og NiMH)
CDA1054: FPL-1800N (kun NiMH)
4. ANVENDELSE
Sikkerhedsanvisningerne og de
relevante sikkerhedsforskrifter skal altid
følges.
Sådan tændes og slukkes værktøjet
Værktøjet er udstyret med en •
sikkerhedskontakt.
Start værktøjet ved at trykke på knappen •
“oplås” (for at udløse kontakten) og tænde for
værktøjet.
Tryk på kontakten (On/Off) for at slukke for •
værktøjet.
Hastighedsregulering

Hastigheden på savklingen kan styres med
drejeknappen øverst på stiksaven.
Jo højere knapstiling, desto højere hastighed. Den
højeste position er 6.
Den ideelle savehastighed afhænger af profilen og
tænderne på savklingen og på det materiale, du
vil save i. Til nogle materialer skal du vælge en ret
høj hastighed og grove tænder. Hvis du vil save i
hårdt materiale, skal du vælge en lavere hastighed
og fine tænder.
Sådan indstiller du pendulet

For at opnå det bedste saveresultat skal du
indstille på hvilken måde tænderne på savklingen
tager fat i materialet. Dette gøres ved at justere
pendulet (8).
Blødt materiale (træ, plastik, etc.): Sæt •
pendulniveau II eller III. Til skarp savning skal
du bruge pendulniveau 0 eller I.
Mellemhårdt materiale (hårdttræ, aluminium, •
etc.): Sæt pendulet afhængig af opgaven. Til
tynde materialer skal du bruge pendulniveau
0, eller hvis du vil arbejde med rasp eller kniv.
Hårde materialer (stål etc.): Sæt pendulniveau •
0.
Kurver: Sæt pendulniveau 0.•
Du kan justere pendulniveauet, mens værktøjet
er igang.
Styr

Stiksaven er forsynet med et styr (10). Sørg for, at
styret altid er monteret korrekt, når stiksaven er i
brug.
Sådan saver du
Tænd for stiksaven.•
Sæt værktøjets sål på arbejdsemnet.•
Bevæg dig langsomt langs mod den savelinje, •
som du lige har tegnet, og tryk stiksaven
langsomt fremad. Tryk sålen godt fast mod
arbejdsemnet. Hvis du ikke gør det, så kan
stiksaven vibrere, og savklingen kan knække.
Lad stiksaven udføre arbejdet. Tryk ikke
for hårdt på stiksaven.

When you are through the work piece, take •
the jig saw out of the hole.
Place the appliance in the normal position in •
the sawn hole and continue the saw cut.
You can also cut in by first drilling a hole in the
work piece. To do this, use a bit that makes a hole
big enough for the saw blade. Now you can carry
out the steps described under ‚Sawing‘.
LCD display

This machine is equipped with an LCD display:
To turn the display on, press the display button •
(13) once. To turn the display off, press the
display button again.
The clock (14) and minutes (15) remaining •
icons indicate the number of minutes of
running time that are available before the
battery requires recharging (Lithium-Ion
battery only)
The battery icon (16) indicates the amount of •
charge remaining in the battery. Each charge
bar displayed indicates approximately 10%
charge remaining in the battery. A total of 10
charge bars indicates a fully charged battery.
LED work light

Press the light button to switch the LED work light
on. Press the light button again to switch the LED
work light off.
Saw blade storage

Saw blades can be stored in the bottom plate:
Pull the bottom blade cover from the bottom •
plate.
Insert the saw blade in the bottom blade cover.•
Slide the bottom blade cover back into the •
bottom plate.
Hex key storage

The included hex key can be stored in the battery
compartment.
5. SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live
when carrying out maintenance work on
the motor.
The machines have been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper machine care and regular
cleaning.
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to
prevent overheating of the engine. Regularly clean
the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably
after each use. Keep the ventilation slots free from
dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off use a
soft cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use
solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Lubrication
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
Faults
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part,
please contact the service address on the
warranty card. In the back of this manual you find
an exploded view showing the parts that can be
ordered.
Environment
To prevent damage during transport, the appliance
is delivered in a solid packaging which consists
largely of reusable material.
Therefore please make use of options for recycling
the packaging.
Faulty and/or discarded electrical or
electronic apparatus have to be
collected at the appropriate recycling
locations.
Warranty
The warranty conditions can be found on the
separately enclosed warranty card.
