Safety tips for the laser beamer
Never look into the light beam of the laser.•
Never point the light beam of the laser at •
humans or animals.
Do not point the light beam of the laser at •
strongly reflecting material. Hazard from
reflected light.
Only have repairs made to the laser beamer •
by qualified personnel / professional repair
specialists.
Do not insert any hard objects into the laser •
optics.
Clean the laser optics with a soft, dry brush.•
Motor
Connect the machine to a 230 V socket.•
If the motor does not start, immediately •
release the switch. Take the plug out of the
socket. Check that the saw blade can turn
freely. If so, try starting the machine again.
To prevent damaging the motor must be
regularly freed of chips and dust to
ensure correct cooling.
If the motor suddenly stops while sawing, let •
go of the switch immediately. Loosen the saw
blade from the piece of work, after which
sawing can continue.
Using long cables of too small a diameter can •
result in loss of voltage, which can lead to
problems with the motor.
For a length up to 15 metres a cable must •
be used with a diameter of 1.5 mm

For a length of between 15 and 40 metres •
a cable must be used with a diameter of
2.5 mm
2

Turn the appliance off immediately in the event of:
A faulty mains plug, mains flex or flex damage.•
A faulty switch.•
Smoke or smell from scorched insulation.•
Seizing of the saw.•
Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe the
safety regulations applicable in your country to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal
injury. Read the following safety instructions and
also the enclosed safety instructions.
Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the rating
plate.

is required.
Replacing cables or plugs
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs
when they have been replaced by new ones. It is
dangerous to insert the plug of a loose cable in
the wall outlet.
3. Assembly and accessories
Installation of the mitre saw
Place one extension piece on the right-hand •
side of the machine and the other extension
piece on the left-hand side of the machine.
Loosen the locking bolts and slide the guide •
rods in the openings.
Tighten the locking bolts again.•
Place the work piece clamp on the left or right •
side of the machine.
Hold the handgrip and move the saw slightly •
downwards and then pull the pin out slightly
so that the machine comes free.
Note: Never use the mitre saw without the
extension pieces supplied. Make sure that they
are correctly mounted.
Mounting the support bracket.
Mount the support bracket into the slot in the •
rear of the base.
Tighten the screw to secure the support •
bracket.
Installation of the machine on a workbench or
on the subframe.

This machine is a stationary machine and for
safety reasons must always be firmly installed and
not used for mobile applications.
You can install the machine in two ways:
a. As a stationary machine on a workbench. In
this case the machine must be secured to the
workbench with 4 bolts.
b. As a stationary machine on the subframe.
In this case the machine must be secured to
the subframe with 4 bolts and the subframe
