3. OPERATING
The machine must be charged before
first use.
Charging the machine
Fig. B
In order to charge the machine, insert the small
plug of the charger adapter (8) into the charging
socket (2) on the bottom of the machine.
Subsequently plug the mains plug connector of the
charger adapter (8) into a socket outlet. The battery
indication light (3) will show the charging progress.
Fully charging the battery may take up to 3-5 hours.
Checking the battery charge status
Fig. C
The battery indication light (3) shows the remaining
battery charge when the battery indication light
button (9) is pressed.
The battery indication light
(3) has three lights indicating the remaining charge
level. The more
lights that burn, the more charge
the battery has left.
When the RED light is burning,
it means the battery is almost empty and should
be charged.
Fitting and removing drills or screwdriver bits
Fig. D
The machine bit holder (4) is suitable for drills and
screwdriver bits with a standard ¼ inch hexagonal
shaft. To fit a screwdriver bit:
Insert the screw driver bit (10) into the
machine’s bit holder (4), it will be hold by a
magnet.
The screw driver bit can be removed by pulling
it out of the bit holder again.
Adjusting the direction of rotation
Fig. F
Set the direction switch (5) to position ‘L’ in
order to drive screws or to use it for drilling.
Set the direction switch (5) to position ‘R’ in
order to remove screws.
Switching the machine on and off
Fig. F
Pressing the on/off switch (6) will activate the
machine.
Releasing the on/off switch (6) will stop the
machine.
Move the direction switch (5) to the middle
position to lock the movement of the on/off
switch. It cannot be activated in this position.
The machine is equipped with electronic
overload protection function. When the
machine gets overloaded it will shut
down automatically. When this happens,
please wait for at least 5 seconds to let
the overload protection reset itself.
Spindle lock function
The machine is fitted with an automatic spindle
lock feature. When the on/off switch (6) is not
pressed, the bit holder (4) rotation is locked. Now
it is possible to use the screwdriver (even when
the battery is empty) as a manual tool.
Adjustable handle
Fig. E
The machine features an adjustable handle that
can be adjusted in two positions, for hard to reach
places.
Press the lock button (11) and turn the handle of
the machine to the desired angle.
Adjusting the torque
Fig. F
The machine has 6 different torque settings
and a special drill mode to set the power being
transmitted to the chuck.
By rotating the torque adjustment ring (12),
screws can be driven to a predetermined depth,
which is ideal for repetitive work. The higher the
number, the more torque will be transmitted.
Select a low setting for small screws or soft
work material.
Select a high setting for large screws, hard
work materials and when removing screws.
You should preferably choose a setting as
low as possible when driving screws. Select
a higher setting if the motor slips before the
screw is fully tightened.
For drilling, turn the torque adjustment ring (12)
to the setting for drilling ( ) by fully turning it
counterclockwise.
Ensure that the direction switch (5) is
always set to "L" during drilling.
