5. Basisfunktionalitäten vom Android-System
Die Bedienung des Tablets unterscheidet sich nicht so sehr von der Bedienung eines Touch-Screen-
Handys. Durch das Anfassen des Displays lassen sich die Applikation leicht installieren, Ikonen
einfach bewegen, das Hauptmenü umgestalten. Mit Hilfe der implementierten Multitouch-Funktion
ist es einfach die Bilder zu vergrößern/verkleinern.
Außer den auf dem Display eingeblendeten Tasten sind, auf dem oberen Gehäuserande, drei Tasten
zu finden (zwei Lautstärke-Tasten, Ein/Aus-Taste). Auf dem Frontpanel befindet sich die
Menü-/Home-/Zurück-/Suchtaste.
Wenn das Tablet unbenutzt ist, geht es nach weniger Zeit in den Schlafmodus (der
Energieverbrauch ist dann minimal).
Die Texteingabe erfolgt über eine virtuelle Tastatur (Möglichkeit Großbuchstaben, Zahlen und
Sonderzeichen einzugeben).

Ferguson Tablet hat ein eingebautes G-Sensor, so das die Inhalte horizontal oder vertikal an
die Halteweise anpasst.
