4. Putting the vehicle into operation
The vehicle can operate on any roadway that has been built in a workman-
like manner.

Check whether the vehicle functions properly.

Prior to the first putting into operation, fully charge the vehicle.
To load the rechargeable batteries of your Car System Digital 3.0
vehicles, only use the Processor-controlled charging unit, Art.
161349 (called Charging Unit in the following). You will find further
information on the ‘Charging procedure’ in the instruction manual of
that product.

Push the on/off switch towards the front, when looking in the direc-
tion of drive.
NOTE:
After the vehicle has been switched on, the additional functions you
have previously programmed will be activated one after the other, and
the vehicle will accelerate up to its usual speed.
Whenever the vehicle is within the radio control area of a Car System
Digital Master (Art. 161354), it will stand still immediately and log in
accordingly if you are using a personal computer running with the Car
System Digital software.
