Fault Possible cause Solution
Appliance does not
work.
Plug is not inserted or the
appliance is not switched on.

Nozzles are clogged up. Eliminate clogging.
The power setting does not

Set the power to the setting
suggested for the flooring.
The attached nozzle does not fit
the flooring.
Attach the correct nozzle.
The “carpet/hard floor” nozzle is
in the wrong position for the
particular type of floor.
Set the “carpet/hard floor” nozzle
to the correct position for the type
of floor.
Appliance runs
unusually loud.
Sucked-in particles have be-
come jammed.
Remove particles. If necessary.
