After use
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance
(4) from the mains supply and move the
stopping plate (6) to the starting position,
i.e. to the zero position.
•W
ait for the blade to completely stop
rotating.
• Do not use an abrasive cleaning agent.
If necessary wipe the casing with a
slightly damp cloth.
• For reasons of electrical safety, the
appliance may not be treated with
water or submerged.
Cleaning the accessories
Simply rinse the sliding carriage (8), rest
holder (7) etc. (not in the dishwasher).
Removal and cleaning the blade
You can clean the stainless steel blade (3)
by wiping it with a damp cloth. From time
to time you should clean the appliance
behind the blade.
• Before removing the blade (3), dis-
connect the plug (4) and move the stop-
ping plate (6) to the starting position,
i.e. to the zero position

ait for the blade to completely stop
rotating.
To remove the blade, turn the catch at
the centre of the blade to the right by
approx. 90° and remove.
Warning:
The blade is extremely sharp.
• To replace the blade follow the instruc-
tions in reverse order.
