Electric current
In case of danger
In case of danger or accident, unplug the appliance
immediately.
● Incorrect voltage can destroy the appliance. Operate the appliance
only if the voltage specified on the rating plate corresponds to the
voltage in your household.
● The socket must be protected with a 16 A automatic circuit breaker.
● Use only extension cords designed for the power input of the appli-
ance.
● Danger of short circuit! Never vacuum water and other liquids, such
as damp carpet cleaning solutions.
● Destruction of filters! Never vacuum sharp or pointed objects, such
as glass splinters, nails, etc. Materials that harden when dry, such as
plaster or cement, can also destroy the filter.
● Damage to appliance from rain and dirt! Never use or store the ap-
pliance outdoors.
● Danger from overheating! Always make sure the openings in the ap-
pliance are unobstructed.

WARNING! Danger of electric shock!
● Never touch the plug with wet hands.
● Never pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance;
always pull the power plug directly from the socket.
● Do not kink, pinch or run over the power cord or drag it over sharp ed-
ges and do not expose it to heat sources.
● If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s customer service department
or a person with similar qualifications, in order to prevent hazards.
● Never operate the appliance if the housing shows visible signs of da-
mage or if you suspect there is a defect in the appliance (e.g. after
being dropped) or if the power cord is damaged.
● Never use a damaged extension cord.
