SCHOORSTEEN OF ENKELVOUDIG ROOKKANAAL

De schoorsteen of het rookkanaal moeten aan de volgende vereisten voldoen:

de verbrandingsproducten kunnen binnenhouden, hermetisch en voldoende geïsoleerd en afgeschermd volgens de

gebruiksomstandigheden;

uitgevoerd in materiaal geschikt om te weerstaan aan normale mechanische belastingen, aan de warmte, aan de werking

van de verbrandingsproducten en aan eventuele condens;

hoofdzakelijk verticale uitgang hebben met niet meer dan 45° afwijking ten opzichte van de as;

op voldoende afstand van brandbare of ontvlambare materialen door middel van luchtbuers of geschikte isolering;

bij voorkeur een ronde binnendoorsnede hebben: de vierkante of rechthoekige doorsneden moeten afgeronde hoeken

hebben met een straal niet minder dan 20 mm;

een constante binnendoorsnede hebben, vrij en onafhankelijk;

rechthoekige doorsneden hebben met maximum verhouding tussen de zijden van 1,5.

Het is aanbevolen dat het rookkanaal voorzien is van een opvangkamer voor vaste materialen en eventueel condens, onder de

inlaat van de buis voor de rook, zodat deze gemakkelijk te openen is en inspecteerbaar via een luchtdicht luikje.
