7.2.1 A chute is intended in the machine for detergents in accordance with figures 1, 14.
The chute has three sections, marked with figures and a symbol:
1 — for preliminary washing with the use of powder detergents and bleaching substances;
2 — for the main washing;
— for special treating substances (conditioning, smoothening, starching, aromatizing additives).
The following is installed in addition to a chute section:
— a chute for the liquid bleacher marked with letters Cl;
— a curtain for the use of liquid detergents.
7.2.2 Detergents, bleachers and conditioning additives should be used for washing which are intended for

7.2.4 When a powder detergent is used a curtain should be removed from section 2 of the chute (if it is installed).
Check so that the powder should not get to a section for special treating substances
in accordance with figure
15, as in the process of rinsing foam will be formed and white spots may appear on goods.
7.2.5 When additional functions
, are chosen the powder detergents are to be used which are to be
placed to section 1 in accordance with figure 14.
7.2.6 When the liquid detergent is used a curtain must be installed to section 2 in accordance with figure 16,
and figure levels in milliliters are marked on both sides of the curtain. In order to freely move the curtain by guiding
slots to the lower position it should be inserted to the chute section by the front surface with figures;
200, 150, 100, 50
7.2.7 Overfilling of special treating substances in section
(above the MAX mark on the cap), as well as pen-
etration to neighboring sections will result in lower quality of washing.
7.2.8 Bleaching substances during selection of the program “SOILS are to be placed to section 1 in accordance
with figure 14, and bleaching takes place directly after the main washing.
Before the use of the liquid bleacher a chute for the liquid bleacher is to be inserted to section 1 in accordance
with figures 14,15. A mark on the cap CL MAX determines the maximal level of bleacher filling to the chute.

having hardness degree II or III a water smoothening agent is to be used along with a detergent. It should be added
to the detergent to section 2 in accordance with figure 14 as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
The water hardness degree is to be determined as per table 1. Information about the water hardness may be
obtained at the local water supply company.

7.3.1 Some spots cannot be eliminated from articles in the process of the ordinary washing in the machine.
Therefore, before washing in the machine they are to manually be eliminated. At first, this is done at a small hardly
visible section of a cloth by starting the treatment from an end of a stain by gradually approaching to its centre for
prevention from any soils.
7.3.2 Wax is to be scratched off by means of a rounded object so that not to damage the fabric. Then the fabric
is to be placed between two sheets of the absorbing paper and the stain is to be treated with a hot iron..
7.3.3 Stains of ball pens and flow masters are to be eliminated with a soft cloth moistened in ethyl spirit.
7.3.4 Mould stains are to be eliminated during washing along with addition of a bleacher to a section of chute 1
in accordance with figure 14, if the fabric is resistant to bleacher impact. In rest cases the stained section is moistened
with 10% solution of hydrogen peroxide and left for 15 minutes.
7.3.5 Slight burns of the fabric with an iron are to be eliminated in the same way as mould stains.
7.3.6 Rust is to be removed with special means for elimination of rust. Manufacturer’s recommendations should
be fulfilled.
7.3.7 Paint is to be removed after full drying. The soiled section is to be wiped with a solvent shown on a paint
package (for example, water, turpentine), soaped and washed.
7.3.8 Stains of a lipstick on cotton or wool are to be wiped with a cloth moistened in ether.
7.3.9 In order to remove a lacquer for nails an absorbing paper is to be put onto the soiled fabric and the stain
is to be moistened with acetone from the back side of the cloth. By frequently changing the paper the fabric is to
be moistened with acetone by the full disappearance of the stain.
7.3.10 Butter is to be applied to stains of vegetable oil or resin for some time and washed out with turpentine.
7.3.11 Stains of grass may be moistened with diluted bleacher by taking into account recommendations of the
manufacturer. They are well removed from wool with 90% spirit solution.
7.3.12 A cloth with blood stains should be moistened in cold water with salt addition, then this is to be washed
with household soap.
