 It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance

clean at all times as it comes into direct contact

with food.

 Make sure the appliance is unplugged before

inserting, removing or cleaning the jug.

 The jug should be mounted correctly on the

motor base before you plug it into the mains. The

appliance is equipped with a safety, which

prevents the jug from working if it is badly

mounted. Furthermore the jug should be locked

so that the appliance can work.

 Keep your hands outside the appliance when

plugged in in order to avoid injuries.

 Do not insert any object while in use, not even for

helping the mixing of food.

 Attention: the blades are sharp and therefore it is

necessary to take particular precautions when

using or cleaning.

 Always close the jug with the lid before starting to

mix. When mixing hot liquid, you have to be very

careful in order to avoid splashing of hot liquid,

otherwise you can get burned. Do not forget to

close the hole of the lid with the cap.

 Always close and hold the lid of the receptacle

before starting to blend. In case the lid would

come up during the mixing of hot preparations in

particular (see “caution” on page 14), stop your
