UK FAN
WARNING: NEVER PLUG IN THE FAN
WHEN IT'S TAKEN APART, THIS MAY
CAUSE ELECTRICAL HAZARDS.
READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
THIS FAN.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Only connect the fan to an earthed socket
with a corresponding voltage as mentioned
on the article.
Use the fan only as described in this manual.
This product is intended for household use
ONLY.
Not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse unit, plug or cord in water or any
other liquids.
Do not spray the fan with liquids.
Do not cover the fan.
Do not use in humid spaces or near a sink.
Do not use in the presence of explosive
and/or highly ammable fumes.
Do not place the article or any part of it
near open re or another heat source.
Place always out of children’s reach.
Children being supervised not to play with
the appliance.
Always place on a level surface.
Remove all objects in the direct vicinity
of the article in order not to block the
swerving mechanism.
Never put anything through the ventilation
grid and always keep under supervision
when switched on.
Do not place near an open window.
Always unplug from socket when:
not in use
moving the article from one location to another
servicing parts, and before cleaning the article
Do not use when:
plug or cord are damaged
the article has fallen
the article is not functioning properly
the article is damaged in any way
Do not hang or mount fan on a wall or ceiling.
Do not operate without fan grills properly
in place.
When the cord is damaged it has to be
replaced by a recognized electrician.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging material from the appliance
and put the completely assembled fan on a stable,
at and anti-skid surface. Only connect appliance to
mains supply after the fan has been fully assembled.
ASSEMBLY

1. Loosen the screws at the pedestal (picture 1).
2. Place the base plate to the lower side of the
pedestal and secure it with washer and screw
tightly (picture 2).

3. Loosen the two screws below motor-housing
(picture 3).

4. The upper side of pedestal has one depression
and opposite one open slot (picture 4).

5. Place the motor housing on the upper side of the
pedestal pipe (picture 5). The depression at the
pedestal shows to the left back-side of fan-guard.

6. Insert the connection screw through the
rectangular opening (picture 6).

7. Screw the tilt-range knob as shown at picture 7.
Screw with a screw driver the small screw into the
provided hole (picture 8). Afterwards secure the
connection screw with the tilt adjustment knob
tightly (picture 9).
9. Place the front-side fan-guard at the backside
fan-guard and assemble it with the screws by
using a screw driver.
ATTENTION: ALWAYS PULL THE PLUG
BEFORE OPENING THE FANGUARD.

ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT
Loosen the height adjustment knob and pull the
extension pole out of the stand post, up to the
desired height. Then fasten the knob again rmly.
OPERATION
The speed level of the fan propeller can be selected
with the rotary switch:
0 Position 0: appliance is switched o
1 Position 1: low speed
2 Position 2: middle speed
3 Position 3: high speed
Oscillation function (horizontal pivoting of the air
ow) can be selected with the button (2) at the motor
unit rear part. Button pressed down: Oscillation ON.
Button pulled up: Oscillation OFF. The inclination
angle of motor unit can be adjusted by the tilt-range
knob and tilt-adjustment knob (picture 7 and 9).
Switch the appliance o after use and pull the plug
.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
FIRST TAKE THE PLUG OUT OF THE SOCKET. Never
immerse the appliance in water or let it have contact
with water. Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or
abrasive cleaners. Only use a mild detergent and a
damped cloth.
