O/I Switch
Main ON/OFF
Note: This switch must be pressed before the unit will operate
with or without heat.

Flame Effect.
Note: This controls the ame effect option. This switch must be
pressed before the heater will operate with heat.

Cold Blow Function.
Note: This switch must be pressed before the ‘Heat Selection’
switch operates.

Heat Selection.
Provides 1 kW and 2 kW heat output thermostatically controlled.
Press button once for 1kW & twice for 2kW output. if button is
pressed a third time the heater reverts to ‘Cold Blow’ mode.

Runback Timer.
The timer provides 15 individual time settings. Each time the
button is pressed the heater is programmed to run for 30
minutes,e.g. 1 press = 0.5hour, 2 presses = 1hour, etc.
This means the heater can be programmed to run for between
0.5 and 7.5 hours.
Thermostat (T) - see Fig.2
In order to maintain a certian room temperature, set the controller
to ‘max’. Operate the heater at full power until the required room
temperature ie reached. Turn back the thermostat control knob
until the heater turns off with an audiable ‘click’. This temperture
will be kept almost constant by the thermostatic control switching
ON and OFF automatically. Please note that the appliance can
only be switched ON when the thermostat setting is higher than
the room temperature.
Flame Control Knob (F) - see Fig.2
By using the ame control knob, the brightness of the ame effect
can be adjusted. At min. setting (indicated by the small bulb) the
brigthness of the ame effect will be lowest. Clockwise rotation
of the knob will increase the intensity of the ame effect.
LED Indicators - see Fig.6
Red LED’s (Neons) will be visable on the right side of the heater
glass window indicating the selected funstion.
For Example when 1kW heat is selected, you will wee the ON/
OFF - LED and the 1kW LED illuminated, or for another example,
if the run back timer is set to6.5 hours the rst, second and the
fourth LED of the timer indicators will be illuminated (4 hours +
2 hours = 0.5 hours = 6.5 hours)

The maximum range of use is ~ 10metres/32.8 ft.
The buttons on the remote control have the same functions as
the switches on the heater.
For detailson the funstions please refer to the ‘Controls’ section
in this leaet.
Warning: It takes time for the receiver to respond to the
transmitter.
Do not press the buttons more than once within two seconds
for correct operation.
Battery Information - see Fig. 7
1. Slide open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Install two AAA batteries into the remote control, being careful
to insert the battery as indicated in the battery compartment of
the handset.
3. Replace the battery cover.
Discard Leaking Batteries
Dispose of batteries in the proper manner according to provincial
and local regulations.
Any battery may leak electrolyte
- if mixed with a different battery type,
- if inserted incorrectly,
- if all the batteries are not replaced at the same time,
- if disposed of in a re,
- if an attempt is made to charge a battery not intended to be
recharged.
Disposal of Used Batteries.
Batteries may contain hazardous substances which could be
endangering to the environment and human health.
The symbol marked on the battery and /or packaging indicates
that used batteries should not be treated as municipal waste.
Instead they should be left at the appropriate collection point
for recycling.
By ensuring used batteries are disposed of correctly, you will help
to prevent potential negative consequences on the environment
and human health. The recycling of materials will help to conserve
natural resources.

Thermal Safety Cut-out
The built-in overheat cut-out switches off the appliance
automatically in the event of a fault! Switch off the appliance or
disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Remove any obstructions which may have caused the
overheating. After a short cooling down phase, the appliance
is ready for use again! If the fault should occur again, see your
local dealer!
WARNING: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent
resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be
supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by
the utility.
